Structure the file base
Clean up the firm's existing documents and organize them into a wiki-style knowledge system with a clear place for each kind of information.
A real estate firm had years of useful documents spread across its organization. We used Claude Code to turn that material into a structured knowledge base the team could search, maintain, and use in daily work.
anonymized implementation
structured into a wiki
underwriting + listings
The implementation started with the files and work the firm already had. Claude became a way to reach that knowledge and move it through repeatable workflows.
Clean up the firm's existing documents and organize them into a wiki-style knowledge system with a clear place for each kind of information.
Let the team ask questions across deal files, listing materials, operating procedures, and shared reference documents instead of hunting folder by folder.
Classify uploaded files and place them into the right part of the knowledge base so the system stays usable as new work arrives.
Use the queryable knowledge base as the context layer for Claude agents supporting underwriting and property-listing work.
The result was not a one-off demo. It was a maintainable knowledge system and a clearer starting point for recurring work.
The firm's existing knowledge became easier for the team to find and use.
Uploads could be sorted into the right destination instead of adding to folder sprawl.
Underwriting and listing preparation began with assembled context rather than a blank page.
Once the files were structured and searchable, Claude agents could retrieve the right firm and property context for the next task. The knowledge base was the foundation—not a separate feature sitting beside the workflows.
When deal and property documents were added, the agent could query the knowledge base for the relevant files, firm procedures, prior context, and underwriting materials. It then organized that source material into a first-pass underwriting package for the team to review.
The same context layer supported listing work. Claude could pull property details, source documents, firm standards, and reusable process knowledge together, then prepare draft listing materials and a completion checklist before anything was published.
Claude can find source material, organize context, route documents, and prepare a draft. The firm's people still review underwriting work and listing materials before either is used.
