If you'd rather go through your employer, they can apply to the Claude Partner Network. Plan ahead even after they're in: Anthropic says getting a new company email domain recognized takes 7 to 10 days.
The free Anthropic Academy courses are open to anyone and hand out completion certificates; those are separate from the proctored exam. My free study checklist works either way.

Anthropic sets it, and it depends on which exam you take. You pay it by card when you register. Current fees are on Anthropic's certification FAQ.
Is the certification mine?
Yes. Pearson checks your government ID against your name at check-in, so the certification is issued to you. Add a personal email to your Credly profile and the badge stays with you if you change jobs.
