Advisory is month to month with 30 days notice. The audit fee comes off your first month of advisory or a build, and half of a half-day or full-day workshop fee comes off the audit if you book it within 30 days. For how these prices compare with the wider market, see what an AI audit costs for a small business.

Is an AI consultant right for you?

It usually fits when:

  • You already pay for ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot and can't say what it's returning.
  • Leadership keeps getting asked about AI and nobody owns the answer.
  • You have pilots or automations running and want someone experienced checking them.
  • You need senior AI judgment now, but a full-time AI hire doesn't make sense yet.

It probably doesn't fit if you only want one tool set up. In that case, a scoped build or a 1:1 session costs less. Comparing consultants? Read how to choose an AI consultant.

How it works

  1. Free 30-minute call. We learn your business and where AI stands today, and tell you honestly whether advisory fits.
  2. First month. We review your workflows or pick up from your audit, set up a shared channel and hold a kickoff session.
  3. Monthly rhythm. Standing sessions, written next steps and direct access in between.
  4. Every quarter. A deeper session to refresh the roadmap and set the next priorities.

Not ready for a monthly plan? Start with the $2,500 AI workflow audit. You get real numbers on one workflow, and the fee carries over if you continue.

Who you work with

Mitchell Moses leads your sessions and answers your questions himself. He spent 8 years building enterprise systems and works on real AI builds every day, including Claude Code systems for small businesses like a real estate firm's searchable knowledge base. How much does an AI consultant cost for a small business?

At OperatorZero, monthly AI advisory is $2,500 a month, or $5,000 a month for Team Advisory. A one-time AI workflow audit is $2,500, and builds start at $6,000 at a fixed price. Every price is published, with no hourly billing. See advisory plans.

Do you charge by the hour?

No. Advisory is a fixed monthly price, and audits, workshops and builds are fixed prices agreed before work starts. The closest thing to an hourly option is 1:1 coaching at $250 a session. See coaching.

What does an AI consultant actually do for a small business?

They find the workflows where AI saves real time, tell you which tools to buy or skip, review vendor pitches, and help your team build AI into the tools you already use. With OperatorZero you get written next steps after every session. See what advisory includes.

Should we start with advisory or the audit?

Start with the $2,500 audit if you want hard numbers on one workflow first. Start with advisory if you need ongoing direction now. The audit fee comes off your first month of advisory, so you don't pay twice. See the audit.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Advisory runs month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days notice. Book a free call.

Do you work with small businesses outside Atlanta?

Yes. Sessions run over video, so OperatorZero works with small businesses anywhere in the United States. Book a free call.

Which AI tools do you work with?

OperatorZero is a Claude partner and an OpenAI select partner, and works with Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Copilot. We'll still tell you when another tool fits better. See builds.

Can you train our team too?

Yes. Team workshops are $950 for a 90-minute lunch and learn, $1,500 for a virtual half day or $2,750 for a full day, for up to 15 people, plus $100 per extra person. See workshops.
