The short answer
If a few motivated people want the basics, send them to the free courses. If your company already pays for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot and most of the team still works the old way, book a workshop; a half day for up to 15 people is $1,500.

What the free courses do well
They're well made and they cost nothing. Claude 101 covers prompting, Projects, Artifacts, Skills and connected tools in 13 lessons. Developers get Claude Code 101 and Claude Code in Action, and there's a course on Cowork for people who want to hand Claude whole tasks. If someone on your team learns best alone at their own pace, start there, and we'd tell you the same on a call.
Where courses run out
A course can't see your Jira board, your shared drive or the report your ops lead rebuilds every Monday. Someone finishes Claude 101 on a Thursday, opens their real work on Friday, and has to figure out the translation alone. Multiply that by 15 people and you get 15 different habits, or the same old habits with a badge on LinkedIn.
The time isn't free either. Fifteen people each doing Claude 101 is about 37.5 hours of staff time, spread over however many weeks it takes everyone to finish. A half-day workshop is about 52.5 hours of staff time (15 people for 3.5 hours) plus $1,500, all in one afternoon, and nobody leaves without their tools set up on their own work.
What happens in a workshop
We plan the agenda on a short call around what your team actually does. On the day, everyone's tools get installed and connected first. Then we run your team's most common tasks with AI together, and each person uses it on a real task from their own job with us alongside. Near the end the team agrees on shared prompts, review rules and what stays human. See the example agenda.
The full day adds an afternoon build on the workflow that eats most of your team's week, a shared playbook, and breakouts by role for devs, analysts and managers.

“They are now doing 2 to 3x the work they were doing before.”Engineering team lead, after our workshops
Using both
You don't have to pick one. A few people can take Claude 101 on their own first, and the workshop then puts that to work on real tasks. It isn't required, because we set up each person's tools with them on the day either way.
Already paid for Claude seats?
That's the most common reason teams look at a workshop. The licenses are bought, a couple of people use Claude well, and nobody else knows how they do it. We run the session on the tools you already pay for. OperatorZero is a Claude partner (Claude Partner Network) and an OpenAI Select Partner, and Mitchell Moses has spent 8 years building enterprise systems.
If you need something else.
- One person, not a team: 1:1 Claude coaching is $250 a session or $800 for four.
- An official credential: the $150 Claude certification prep gives you prep resources and direct Q&A with Mitchell for all four Anthropic exams, with exam access as part of the package. The exam fee is paid separately.
- Numbers before training: the $2,500 AI workflow audit prices one workflow step by step. Half your workshop fee comes off it if you book within 30 days.
Questions.
Still unsure? Email contact@operatorzero.ai or bring it to the free call.
Are Anthropic's Claude courses free?
Yes. Anthropic Academy (academy.claude.com) lists free, self-paced courses. Claude 101 is 13 lessons with one quiz and runs about 2.5 hours, and there are separate courses for Claude Code, Cowork and building on the API. We checked the catalog on October 18, 2026.
Is a free online course enough to train my team on Claude?
It can be, if your people are self-starters who'll take what they learn and apply it on their own. If the licenses are paid for and most of the team still works the old way, a workshop is the faster fix, because everyone gets set up and uses Claude on their own work in the same session.
How much does a Claude team workshop cost?
An OperatorZero workshop is $1,500 for a half day or $2,750 for a full day, for up to 15 people. Each extra person is $100. The price is agreed on a free call before anything goes on the calendar.
Can my team take the free course and do a workshop?
Yes, and that order works well. A few people can go through Claude 101 on their own first, then the workshop puts it to work on real tasks. The course isn't required, though; we set up each person's tools with them on the day.
Do you train on ChatGPT or Copilot too?
Yes. We run the workshop on whatever your company already pays for: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or a mix.
Does the workshop give my team a Claude certification?
No. Official Claude certifications come from Anthropic's exams. If someone wants one, our $150 Claude certification prep gives them prep resources and direct Q&A with Mitchell for any of Anthropic's four exams, with exam access as part of the package. The exam fee is paid separately.
Does the workshop fee count toward anything else?
Yes. Book the $2,500 AI Workflow Audit within 30 days and half the workshop fee is credited toward it: $750 after a half day or $1,375 after a full day.
